Tanushree Dutta Controversy and B-Town Celebs Casual Reaction

Tanushree Dutta who was crowned as  Miss India 2003,made her debut in Bollywood film industry from movie Aashiq Banaya Aapne in year 2005. The actress was not seen in limelight since she left her career and country for a life in United States. Tanushree recently came back from America and landed on the front page of our newspapers when she made comments on being allegedly sexually assaulted by Nana Patekar in 2008.

In year 2008 Tanushree reported an incident of being assaulted by actor Nana Patekar and choreographer Ganesh Acharya on the set of film Horn Ok Pleassss. A video also went viral same year where goons were seen trashing the actress's car along with reporter Pawan Bharadwaj who also punctured the tyres of her car. When she reported about the incident, the actress had to face a lot of backlash from people and Bollywood industry due to which she quit the film and left.

When asked about his views regarding the entire case, Amitabh Bachchan evaded the question by saying, "Na too meta naam Tanushree Dutta hai our na hi Nana Patekar."

Ganesh Acharaya further told media that entire case was a bogus and nothing of similar sought happened.  He further defined Nana Patekar claiming that the actress is lying."First of all, it's a very old incident so I can't recall everything clearly. But it was duet song as far as I remember. Something did happen that day because the shooting got stalled for over three hours. There was some sought of misunderstanding. But I can confirm nothing this sort of happened. It's a wrong statement that Nanaji called the members of some political party on set . It never happened."

66 year old actor Shakti Kapoor, when told about Tanushree Dutta's interview, told media that"10 years ago? I don't know anything about this case. This was 10 years back, I was a kid back then."

While there is a list of never ending people with their absurd opinions and comments, there are also some celebrities who have openly shown their support towards the actress and her case. Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Raveena Tandon, etc have all stood in the support of Tanushree Dutta.
