Neetu Kapoor took it to her Instagram to reveal that Ranbir is doing well and is home-quarantined right now. In the past, Neetu herself had also been tested positive for Covid-19 while shooting for Jug Jug Jeeyo along with her co-star Varun Dhawan.

Sharing a picture of Ranbir on her social media handle, Neetu Kapoor wrote, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions ?".

Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Karisma Kapoor both dropped heart emojis in the comment section and wished the actor a speedy recovery. Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan also dropped heart emojis in the comments for him.

The news had been hitting the racks from yesterday but there was no confirmation on the same.  When asked Ranbir Kapoor's uncle and actor Randhir Kapoor, he had said, "Yes". However, he quickly added, " I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town."

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has an interesting line-up of films ahead. First on our mind has to be Ayan Mukerji's action fantasy film, Brahmastra that also features his ladylove Alia Bhatt, Karan Malhotra's period-action drama Shamshera as well as Animal by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Every passing day of this pandemic is a reminder that it is still not over and you need to take all the necessary precautions against it.

Wishing a speedy recovery for Ranbir!
