Bulbbul Fame Tripti Dimri To Star Opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal
Bollywood buffs rejoice as new movie Animal has been announced on this New Year's eve. The fantabulous cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.
Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga who directed 2019 hit Kabir Singh is responsible for the direction of the same. The movie is co-produced by Murad Khetani, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar.
As per a report by Filmfare, Tripti Dimri has been cast opposite Ranbir Kapoor in this crime drama. The movie reportedly needed two actresses and now the Bulbbul fame Tripti Dimri has also been roped in after the announcement was made. As per the same report, Tripti who worked in Anushka Sharma's Netflix product Bulbbul has auditioned for the role and was able to impress the makers. Other popular names including Sara Ali Khan also auditioned for the role but the makers decided to sign Tripti.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor agreed to star in the film as soon as director Sandeep Reddy Vanga narrated the story. As for Tripti Dimri, she is known for her outstanding performance in Laila and Majnu and Bulbbul.
The film is sure to make headlines owing to the star cast, most of whom haven't worked with each other before. Earlier, Anil Kapoor took his social media to announce about Animal and its star cast with a teaser video on New Year creating a wave of excitement amongst the fans.
