The festival season has kick started in India. The auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi started on August 22 and many Bollywood celebs were seen in the festive mood. Stars like Shilpa shetty, Shraddha Kapoor, Arpita Khan Sharma, Ananya Panday and more welcomed Bappa home. The pictures and videos surfacing on the internet are a ray of hope during this tough times.

Shilpa celebrated the day with her husband Raj Kundra and kid Viaan. They were seen doing havan and next day they did the visarjan. Shilpa distributed prasad to all the photographers presented outside her house. The lady was seen in stylish avatars in designer outfits. Viaan was also seen dancing his heart out.

Last year, Shilpa talked to Mid-day about bringing eco-friendly idols. She said,  "As a celebrity, we have to be responsible for our actions. One must be the change they want to see. I live on the beach, and it was a heartbreaking sight after visarjan. The pollution it causes is massive. Hence, the decision to change 4 years ago."

Arpita had a floral decoration for her Ganpati. During the visarjan, Salman Khan and others from his family were also seen doing the rituals.

Shraddha Kapoor also had eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan.
