Amid Backlash Over Sushant's Suicide, Karan Unfollows Alia, Follows Only These 3 Actors
Filmmaker Karan Johar is at the receiving end of criticism after the untimely demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor died by suicide after which nepotism debate started once again. Several reports suggested that he was in stress as Bollywood's elite club ganged up against him and he was not getting any good projects. Amid all these speculations, Karan has unfollwed many stars including Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Twinkle Khanna. Now, he only follows three actors, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Karan also follows PM Narendra Modi. Earlier, the director shared an emotional post for Sushant. He wrote, "I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year..... I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with...but somehow I never followed up on that feeling...will never make that mistake again...we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times ...some of us succumb to these silences and go within...we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them. Sushant’s unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me ...to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations.....I hope this resonates with all of you as well....will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug"
The case is being investigated and the reason behind his suicide is yet to be known.
