Sonu Sood Arranges Buses For Stranded Migrants In Mumbai, Fans Call Him *Angel With Muscles*
Amid this coronavirus lockdown, actor Sonu Sood has come to the rescue of hundreds of migrants stuck in Mumbai. After taking the permission of Maharashtra and Karnataka government, the actor has arranged 10 buses and meal kits for stranded migrants. On Monday, these buses left for Gulbarga, Karnataka from Thane, Maharashtra. Sonu said, "Every Indian deserves to be with their families and dear ones."
The actor stated, "The Maharashtra government officials were very helpful in terms of organising the paperwork and a special mention to the Karnataka government for welcoming the migrants back home."
Such a kind gesture by our actor @SonuSood as he hired multiple buses alongwith necessary govt. permissions from different state governments to send migrants stuck in Mumbai to their hometowns amid lockdown.

He further added, "It was really moving for me to watch these migrants walking on roads including the little kids and old parents. I shall continue doing the same for other states as well to the best of my abilities."
Fans have appreciated Sonu's gesture and called him a real hero. Earlier, he had provided his Mumbai hotel for the accommodation of health professionals and donated 1,500 PPE kits for doctors in Punjab.
On a related note, the lockdown will end on May 17. The total number of positive coronavirus cases in India have crossed 60,000. It is yet to be seen if the government plans to extend the lockdown in coming days.
