Rishi Kapoor Passes Away In Mumbai At 67, Amitabh Bachchan Confirms
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 in Mumbai after battling cancer for two years. The actor was admitted to H N Reliance hospital where he breathed his last. Rishi gave us some wonderful films and proved his versatility. Yesterday, Irrfan Khan passed away and today, the Hindi cinema has lost its another gem. Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed the news of Rishi's demise with a tweet.

Both the stars have worked together in films like Amar Akbar Anthony and 102 Not Out.

Yesterday, Rishi's elder brother Randhir Kapoor told PTI, "He is in the hospital. He is suffering from cancer and he has some breathing problem, so he has been admitted to the hospital. He is stable now."
After diagnosing with cancer, Rishi went to New York for treatment. From Arjun Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, many actors visited them during his treatment. He came back, last year.
The news is indeed a great shock for his fans.
Rishi signed a film with Deepika Padukone, which was the Hindi remake of Hollywood film, The Intern.
The actor is survived with his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Riddhima.
