RIP Irrfan Khan! An Ordinary Looking Man With Extraordinary Talent
Actor Irrfan Khan is a name that doesn't need any introduction. He entered the industry at the time when people were obsessed with abs and good looks. However, the actor worked hard and gave us some wonderful films like Hindi Medium, Piku and more. He once confessed that there was a time he couldn't afford a ticket of Jurrasic Park and years later, he acted in it. He made us believe that success comes to those who work hard. Thus, when people came to know that Irrfan passed away in Mumbai, it was hard to digest that we won't be able to see him in movies.
In 2018, he announced that he was suffering from neuroendocrine tumours. Later, he went to London for treatment. During this time, he also shot for his last film, Angrezi Medium. When we started thinking that he is fit and will soon start working again, news broke that he was admitted to the hospital. Later, we came to know that he died of colon infection. A couple of days back, his mother Saeda Begum died. Due to the lockdown, he attended her funeral via video conferencing.
When the actor was at the hospital, he said, "See, amma has come. She is sitting next to me. Amma has come to take me."
From PM Narendra Modi to big wigs of Bollywood, people mourned the death of this legend. It feels like a personal loss.
