King Of Hearts! Shah Rukh Donates 25,000 PPE Kits To Healthcare Workers In Maharashtra Amid Corona Scare

Amid corona lockdown, superstar Shah Rukh Khan donated 25,000 PPE kits to healthcare workers of Maharashtra. This is known to all that Maharshtra is the hot spot of coronavirus and more than 2000 positive cases have been confirmed here. Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare of Maharashtra, Rajesh Tope, thanked the actor on Twitter for his help.

He wrote, "Many thanks Mr Shah Rukh Khan for your kind contribution of 25,000 PPE kits. This will go a long way in supporting our fight against COVID19 & protecting our frontline medical care team @iamsrk @MeerFoundation @CMOMaharashtra."

Shah Rukh stated that they have to be together in the fight against coronavirus. He tweeted, "Thank you sir for all your help to source the kits. We are all together in this endeavour to protect ourselves and humanity. Glad to be of service. May your family & team be safe and healthy."

Earlier, Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan gave their 4-storey personal office space to expand the quarantine capacity. Along with making several contributions, SRK will also be joining for a global television and streaming special on April 18 to applaud healthcare workers all over the world.

The total number of positive corona cases in India have crossed 10,000. Today, PM Narendra Modi has extended the lockdown till May 3.
