Gangubai Kathiawadi: Alia Bhatt's First Look Is Revealed
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is coming up with his first collaboration with actress Alia Bhatt and we are dying from all the curiosity and excitement levels. The actress is working on his upcoming project calked as Gangubai Kathiawadi, which will be released later this year in the month of September.
The first poster of the film has just been revealed by the company and we can say that its got us all excited. Alia Bhatt looks strong and hardcore in the poster and is looking promising in the role. The film is based on the woman of same name.
Gangubai was a sex worker and brothel owner who went ahead and became the don of Kathiawadi. She fought for the rights of sex workers and their empowerment. Roaming around in her black Bentley, Gangubai even went ahead to meet with then Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru to discuss about the rights and freedom of sex workers.
Since all her efforts, Gangubai has been idolised and looked up to in Kathiawadi and other areas of Mumbai. Seeing Alia Bhatt portraying the role of this formidable role has definitely gotten our hopes high and now we are waiting for the trailer of the film.
