National Film Awards 2019: Vicky, Ayushmann Win Best Actor, Surekha Sikri Gets Standing Ovation
The ceremony of the National Film Awards 2019 took place in Delhi which was attended by many renowned faces of Bollywood. Vice Presdient M Venkaiah Naidu presented the awards. Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana shared the Best Actor Award. The latter got it for Andhadhun whereas Vicky received it for his spectacular performance in Uri: The Surgical Strike. Akshay Kumar was honoured with the National Award for Best Film on Social Issues for Padman.
South star Keerthy Suresh won the Best Actress Award for her film, Mahanati. One of the best moments of the ceremony was when Surekha Sikri received the Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Badhaai Ho. She arrived on the wheel chair and got a standing ovation from all the celebs. This was her third National Award.

We saw many light moments between Akshay, Ayushmann and Vicky. In one of the pictures, Vicky can also be seen hugging Akshay. All the stars looked super stylish at the event. The Uri actor donned a black bandhgala by designer Sabyasachi. Keerthy also looked beautiful in a Sabyasachi saree.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan couldn't attended the ceremony because of his ill health. He was supposed to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
The ceremony was hosted by Sonali Kulkarni and Divya Dutta.
