Actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to return to Bollywood after a hiatus with Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink. Along with her, the movie also features Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in crucial roles. The trailer received a positive response from cinema lovers and people were eagerly waiting for its release as it is going to be Priyanka's first Bollywood film after her marriage. Now, this latest piece of news can make you wait for the movie more difficult.

The Sky Is Pink was recently screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and it received a 4-minute long standing ovation. The early reviews have started pouring in and people are calling this film a tearjerker. All the actors are being appreciated for their spectacular performances.

Wayne R, the representative of TIFF, praised the film to heights. He took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, "The way Shonali Bose shot the film and used flashbacks effectively added more depth to the film. Also having the daughter narrates the film added another layer of connection to her. At the end of the film #TheSkyIsPink is received a standing ovation from the audience."

It was an emotional night for Priyanka. The lady got teary-eyes and was seen hugging Shonali. The actress looked beautiful in a grey-and-black frill dress. Her husband Nick Jonas couldn't attend the event but he made sure to congratulate his lady love on social media.

The Sky Is Pink revolves around a girl played by Zaira suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. She narrates the story of her parents dealing with her illness.  The young actress looked promising in the trailer. However, it is indeed sad that she has left the industry.

On a related note, the film is all set to hit the screens on  October 11.
