Karan Johar Found A "Suitable Boy" In Newcomer Lakshya For Dostana 2
Early this morning, the Godfather of B-town Karan Johar took it to his social media account to share the details about his latest discovery. The director and producer introduced new "suitable boy" Lakshay, who will be making his debut in silver screen through "Dostana 2"alongside Kartik Aryan & Janhvi Kapoor.
Lakshay aka Laksh Lalwani in not new to the camera. He was seen in various popular television shows before he got the opportunity to get tutelage by KJo himself. Lakshay was seen shows like "Warrior High", "Porus", "Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil" & "Humari Adhuri Kahaani". The young actor also shared screen with actress Shraddha Kapoor in movie Haseena Parker.
Dharma Productions revealed that Lakshay has a four film contract with the production house and will be stirring moving and digital projects all together. Karan also shared about the rigorous selection process. Lakshay went through multiple auditions and screen tests before he was finally awarded with the opportunity that millions of people only dream about.
Taking over the legacy of Priyanka, John & Abhishek from Dostana 1; Janhvi, Kartik & Lakshay will work their magic on screens the sequel. Far away from the stereotypical love triangle story, Dostana 2 will have a extremely fresh plot line. Kartik & Janhvi are going to portray the role of siblings who will fall in love with same person aka Lakshay. Hence the reason of newbie being introduced as "suitable boy".
We reckon it will be extremely fun to see the loose goose drama in "Dostana 2" and are hoping that unlike every other film whose sequels are a major let down, Dostana 2 comes out with a bang! Until then we all can wait for the more juicy surprises that Karan & his team has stored for us.
