September is here and the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi has already begun with excitement and zeal all across the nation. The day marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the celebrations continue for 10 days and end with the immersion of Ganesha idol into a water body, where it's believed to be returning to Kailash Parvat to Lord Shiva and Parvati.

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of my favourite festivals and I really missed celebrating it at home last year... Was part of the Aarti via FaceTime!
