We all have heard that dreams have no age limit and some people are proving it right. Ramjal Meena, who works as a security guard at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has succeeded in cracking the varsity's entrance exam five years after he was forced to discontinue education. He is all set to pursue BA in the Russian language. Talking about his struggles, he revealed that he used to study between his duty hours.

Meena studied in Karauli. He was a bright student right from the beginning but due to his terrible financial conditions, he discontinued his education. Ramjal started working as a security guard in JNU in 2014. Last year, he did his graduation through distance learning from a Rajasthan University.  While talking to ANI, he said, "2004 me padhai ko viraam lag gaya tha, lekin ab main wapas padhai karunga. There was a time when I had to rethink my education. My father was alone in his struggle, I discontinued my studies and joined him to get money home"

Meena stated that students and teachers supported him by giving him reading material for the preparation. He revealed, "I studied for four, sometimes six hours a day. I had to work as well… for me, it was important to crack this exam."

He said that he chose the course because he likes foreign languages. Meena said, "I want to visit Russia one day. I want to see its culture and lifestyle. Russia is a good country. India also purchases a lot of defence equipment from Russia."

Undoubtedly, he is the inspiration to many. While we are busy making excuses, Ramjal is proving that dreams have no age limit.

We wish him a bright future!
