When we came to know that filmmaker Shoojit Sircar is collaborating with actors Amitabha Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana for Gulabo Sitaabo, we were sure that a blockbuster project is in making. To make our wait more difficult, Big B's first look from the film is here and it is hard to believe that he is the same person who has been ruling Bollywood for the past so many years. With a white beard, round frame specs and a headscarf, the actor has transformed into a grumpy old man. Well, it won't be wrong to say that Mr Bachchan is gearing up for his another spectacular performance.

The film is being shot in Lucknow and if reports are to be believed, the security at the sets has been beefed up in order to stop pictures from getting leaked.

Earlier, while talking about his look in the film, Amitabh wrote in his blog, "Its been an exhausting day .. the prosthetics have been tiresome and they sap all your efforts away .. but then this is what we aimed for .. hesitant to disclose the look .. methinks it shall be with the print media soon ..till then ..my abbreviated resolve."

Ayushmann is playing another lead in the film. He will be sharing the screen space with Amitabh for the first time. In his interview to Times Now, he stated, "I have butterflies in my stomach. I don’t know how will I feel when I face Mr Bachchan for the first time on screen together. And I am excited as Shoojit Sircar and Juhi Chaturvedi (screenwriter) are coming together with him after Piku. It is a dream team."
