The Disney movie we all have been desperately waiting for, The Lion King is arriving on the big screen super soon. The legendary story of our childhood that worships the relationship between father & son, represented between a lion and his cub in the jungle has been one of her favourites during our childhood. And having a popular celebrity father-son duo, dub the Hindi version of the film makes us happier about it.

During yesterday's India vs Pakistan cricket match in the ongoing World Cup 2019, Shahrukh Khan shared a picture on his Instagram, in which he can be seen wearing a customised Team India jersey with his dearest son Aryan Khan. But instead of the regular jerseys saying their names, they read 'Mufasa' and 'Simba'. And that's when we realised, what is about to happen!

In the Hindi version of The Lion King, Shahrukh will be dubbing for the character of the King Mufasa while his eldest son Aryan will be the voice of Mufasa's cub, Simba. This is a treat for all the Indian SRK fan's who have been waiting for Aryan's comeback in the film industry.

Shahrukh and Aryan have previously dubbed for the Hindi version of The Incredibles (2004), where daddy cool voiced Mr Incredible and the latter as his son Dash. For those who don't know, Aryan also played the young Rahul Raichand in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham(2001).

In a report, King Khan revealed that the 1994 animated version of the film, titled as The Lion King, is loved by all the families and that he can totally relate to the character of King Mufasa. "The Lion King is that one movie that my entire family loves the most and it holds a very special place in our hearts. As a father, I can totally relate to Mufasa and the endearing relationship he shares with his son, Simba. The legacy of Lion King is timeless, and being a part of this iconic re-imagining with my son Aryan makes it extra special for me." The actor also added, "We are most excited that Abram is going to watch this."

He captioned it, "Glad to be a part of this journey... a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around its even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing"

The 1994 remake of the movie, is a live-action film and is all set to hit the theatres on July 19. It will also be released in regional languages such as Telegu and Tamil.
