Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone To Pair Again In '83: Who Better To Play My Wifey Than My Wifey
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been in the industry for almost 8 years now, with 12 movies listed in his biography. If we calculate the average, the actor has gained tremendous success in a short span of time and has shot a little more than one movie per year.
It's very much true that the actor doesn't do a lot of movies back-to-back but once he is on the screen, he makes sure there is nothing else in the theatres that can get the amount of attention, love and praises he gets for his movie. His exceptional performance in the film is so power-packed that it feels like the awards were made for me and yes, how can we miss out on the appreciation by critics'.
Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat are proof enough to show how amazing of an actor he is. Soon, we can say the same for his fantastic performance in his latest release Gully Boy.
Currently, Ranveer Singh is busy taking his time to prepare for his upcoming movie '83. The film is a biopic on our former Indian Cricket Captain, Kapil Dev. The news of Ranveer Singh playing the character of Kapil Dev came out almost two years ago. There were also rumours that Deepika Padukone will play his wife in the film. The rumours started growing especially after the two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in November last year. And our prayers have been answered and now for real, his dear wife is all set to play the part on-screen.
Deepika has finally joined the cast of '83 and is all prepared to play Kapil Dev's wife, Romi Dev in the film. Ranveer took it to his Instagram and announced her entry with a few posts and it is evident that he is excited af! Here take a look:

Ranveer wrote the caption "*drum roll* All smiles as All-star @deepikapadukone joins the #83squad !!! ????" along with a picture of him, wifey and director the film Kabir Khan.

This will be their 5th movie together including Finding Fanny, where Ranveer Singh had a cameo.

The film is currently being shot in Glasgow, Scotland. The movie is slated for release on April 10, 2020. The movie also features Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi and Harry Sandhu in vital roles.
