Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan are two new-gen actors with a huge fan base who are waiting for them to get into a relationship ASAP! Their followers on social media have created various fan pages dedicated to the duo and even came up with a ship hashtag called #Sartik, combining both Sara and Kartik.
All this began when the Kedarnath actress confessed her desire to date Kartik on Koffee With Karan. This piece of news became the talk of the town for weeks and finally, both the actors were roped in for Imtiaz Ali's next project. His upcoming film is a sequel to Saif and Deepika's Love Aaj Kal. The duo is often spotted hanging out with each other on the sets and even after that. Not so long ago, a video of Sara and Kartik went viral on the internet, wherein the two can be seen kissing on the sets of the film.

However, a few weeks ago, Sara crushed all our dreams with a big revelation. During a conversation with a leading daily, the Simmba actress confessed that she wanted to 'get over' Kartik. She said, "If you knew all the thoughts I have but don't do anything about, I promise we would get over this Kartik Aaryan thing." Well, just as we thought these two can be the next ultimate Bolly couple, Sara's statement has totally crushed our hopes.

The actors have short for the first instalment of Imtiaz's film, Love Aaj Kal, in Delhi. The two were seen taking bike rides on the streets to private dinner dates together. The cute-hearts are definitely spending some quality time together and making memories! Their upcoming movie is planned to release on Valentine's Day next year. The film also stars Randeep Hooda in a vital role.
