Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a high-grade neuroendocrine tumour last year in 2018 after which he flew to London for the treatment. The actor was last seen in the movie Karwaan, which was a light-hearted comedy starring Dalquer Salmaan and the actor has been missing from Bollywood ever since the news of his rare condition became public.

Earlier this week, Irrfan was finally spotted at the Mumbai airport. His face was initially covered with a black mask. But Irrfan being him, he took off his mask so that the paps could take a picture of him.

The actor recently took to his Twitter and shared a heartfelt message where he thanked his fans and expressed his gratitude for the love and support throughout his journey.

That's the sweetest message we have read so far! It not only made us teary-eyed but it is so amazing to see that not only he is a fantastic actor but also a humble person by heart.

Irrfan has been keeping a low profile since he left India on providing information regarding his treatment. However, what he absolutely love about him is that he has always been thankful for all the encouragement and prayers he has received from his loveable fans while he was undergoing his treatment.

Last year in an interview, Irrfan opened up about his condition and what he had been going through, and said, "Throughout my journey, people have been wishing me well, praying for me, from all over the world. People I know, people I don't even know. They were praying from different places, different time zones, and I feel all their prayers became ONE."

Irrfan was diagnosed with an 'unknown and rare disease' in February 2018 however, it was later speculated by the media that it was brain cancer. The actor later announced that he would share his story on Twitter with his fans in a week and requested the media to not speculate anything on their own.
