Saree Auction & Heartfelt Posts: Bollywood & Kapoor Family Remembers *Sridevi* On Her Death Anniversary
Ever since Bollywood lost one of the top superstar's, Sridevi, life for the Kapoor family and her fans would never be the same. Like Janhvi says, it's like an empty space that can never be filled. No one will ever be able to take her spot in the Indian cinema and will forever reside in the hearts of all the people who loved her immensely. Her charisma and charming performances in songs like Hawa-Hawai and movies like English-Vinglish will always be cherished.
Sridevi's daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, recently shared a picture of her late mother and captioned it as "My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it."
In teary moments like these, the Bollywood fam-bam unites a family to provide unconditional love and support to the entire Kapoor family.
A close friend of Sridevi and ace designer Manish Malhotra also shared a heart-melting post for his dearest friend. The caption went by 'I Miss You. Our Talks and laughter and all our time together .. Memories that will always be with me.'
Sridevi's sister in law Maheep Kapoor, who is Boney Kapoor's brother, Sanjay's wife also shared some memorable and lovely moments with her. The two were definitely very close to each other as we can see the two are happily posing and dancing in the pictures. She captioned the series of photos as, 'Will always remember the good times'.
Popular director and choreographer, Farah Khan Kunder also shared a heartfelt note with a throwback picture from their 1994 world tour. We hope wherever Sridevi is right now, hope she finds peace and knows that everyone including her family, friends and fans miss her. The Kapoor family is reportedly in Chennai currently to organise a special puja in her memory.
Now as another token of appreciation, Boney Kapoor, her husband donated one of her favourite handwoven Kota sarees for auction and the proceeds raised will be donated to a non-profit charitable trust.

The auction is being held on Parisera, which is a handcrafted products website. The bid started a few days back at Rs. 40,000 and has now reached a whopping amount of 1. 3 lakhs. We hope the fund raised from the auction will help Sridevi be remembered for her good deeds.
