This pink 5-room abode is a relatively spacious 1,400 square feet resale HDB located at Tampines Street 72. A Blue Cube Design describes it as a mix of Scandinavian/Nordic, with modern luxe vibes and a good dose of pink.

Instead of looking like an overly saccharine Barbie dollhouse, this pink apartment is kept classy with muted shades of pink, with the colour mostly present as prominent accents - such as with the curtains, a sofa, and a built-in arched shelf that doubles up as part of the TV feature wall.

The walls and floor are white, as is a long marble dining table with gold finishes. Splashes of lime green, mint, and orange provide some fun and artsy-looking colour contrast. Framed prints and kitschy art installations further contribute to this artistic outlook, making the living room appear like a mini gallery of sorts.

The kitchen shares the same solid white and marble finishes that the living and dining has, complete with gilded cabinet handles and sink fittings. Little bursts of pink come in the form of track lighting and kitchenware. Simple and sophisticated!

The balcony seems to be rather spacious, as it can fit both a washer and dryer, along with some cupboards. Spot the stylish automated laundry rack - a definite bonus for fuss-free laundry days. (Check out our previous article on the benefits of getting a smart laundry system!)

The bedrooms also feature significantly less pink than the living area, but still go according to similar design elements. Apart from the white and gold, the master bedroom sports a botanical theme with a plant mural splashed across one wall. A furry rug adds some cosiness, while a Hollywood-style vanity mirror and velvet pouf seat bring a touch of glam.

The bathroom is mostly kept simple as well. A strip of wall lined with pink zig-zagging rectangular tiles is an eye-pleasing focal point that adds some colour to the whole set-up.

The kids’ room makes us want to travel back in time to our childhood days! It has a space-saving pull-out bed set which can accommodate two, as well as a sleek white ceiling fan. The icing on the cake? Whimsical wallpaper in soft pastel shades, featuring adorable cartoon animals flying around on hot air balloons!
