Japan has just announced the official start of its cherry blossom season for 2021, which has come early this year...and here we are, stuck in Singapore for the nth month in a row. While the closest we can get to an actual hanami session is with Gardens by the Bay’s Hello Kitty-themed Sakura Matsuri, that’s not where the sakura-themed fun in Singapore ends.

BreadTalk Singapore has just launched 9 new limited edition Blooming In Pink pastries, and among them are a couple of sakura-flavoured buns and cakes. The others come with strawberry and rose flavours, which are also well-loved by Singaporeans.

Speaking of which, check out our article on 2am:dessertbar’s Sakura Strawberry High Tea!
