Home-based business Two Bake Boys is the brainchild of Kitty, a Thai-born Singaporean PR, who decided to sell crepe cakes to help with her family's income when she had a pay cut at her full-time job in the aviation industry during COVID-19.

Kitty first started out with two crepe cake flavours: Thai Milk Tea and Thai Green Milk Tea - both of which are iconic and popular Thai drink flavours. She uses tea leaves imported from Thailand to make the cakes taste as authentic as possible.

If you are missing Thailand a bit too much, these cakes may just help to make the wait to travel - till it's finally safe to do so again - slightly more bearable.

With so many crepe cake options out on the market, Two Bake Boys has managed to set itself apart from the rest, thanks to the packets of sauces that come with each cake.

The drizzle comes in the same flavour as the cake and has a smooth and watery consistency, but don't be fooled by its appearance, as it tastes rich and flavourful, complementing the cakes perfectly.

The crepe cakes are freshly made every day and consist of 18 to 20 layers.

Kitty has since expanded her business by experimenting with new flavours that are also now available for sale.

The Thai Rose Tea crepe cake comes in a pretty dusty pink colour and has a subtle rose fragrance. The drizzle in the same flavour is not too sweet and brings out the aroma of the roses even further.

The layers of crepes are not paper thin but that actually adds a slight chewy texture which some may like. You can even eat the cakes on their own without the sauce as they are moist enough.
