Although no one has any idea when our beloved night markets will be back so we can enjoy street food once again, some of the vendors have decided to open up permanent physical stores so customers can satisfy their cravings whenever they hit. There are also stores in Singapore who have been selling pasar malam food for years.

The famous pasar malam staple, Teochew Meat Puff, recently opened their one and only physical store in Singapore to crazy long queues! Known for their fresh ingredients and generous fillings, it's no surprise people are willing to queue for hours for these meat puffs.
Fans of the famed meat puffs can expect to find the usual fan-favourite flavours such as oyster pork, prawn pork, and more at the store.

Prices for the meat puffs range from $2 to $4.
Take note that the store does not do pre-orders and delivery. Those who wish to get their hands on some should head down early lest they get sold out!

#2 Big Brother Yummy Chicken

Can't travel to Taiwan? No worries because Big Brother Yummy Chicken has got you covered with its range of authentic Taiwanese street food snacks!

Used to be a roving store at pasar malams, the brand now has two permanent physical stores in Singapore so customers can experience Taiwan without having to travel.

You can expect to find the cult-favourite large chicken cutlet, plum sweet potato fries, fried enoki mushroom and more. There's even an option to add cheese so you can dip the fried snacks in it!

Nasi lemak is not a night market food per se but this one is by Singapore Night Bazaar, the organisation behind the pasar malams in Singapore!

The coconut pandan rice is apparently the chef's secret recipe and with 13 different nasi lemak combinations available ranging from mutton to chicken, fish, prawns and more, you will be spoiled for choices.
The store is open 24 hours daily which means you can literally head down whenever, regardless of the time, to enjoy a plate of hearty nasi lemak. Psst, this is a great supper spot for those who often crave a hearty meal in the middle of the night.
#4 Ministry of Burgers

Ask anyone what they miss most about pasar malams and most of them would probably give the same answer - Ramly burger. Another pasar malam staple, the Ramly burger consists of a meat patty wrapped in a thin layer of egg, then doused with an addictive combination of sauces.
