We've mentioned the Wildseed at The Summerhouse outlet in our list of romantic dining spots in Singapore.
This outlet is nestled on Telok Blangah hill and the outdoor dining area has a greenhouse-like structure covered in plants. The area is also surrounded by greenery with the charming colonial-style Alkaff Mansion next to it.
The café offers freshly roasted coffee, sandwiches, floral cakes, pastries, hearty weekend brunches and casual, all-day fare.
#2 Merci Marcel @ Tiong Bahru
French restaurant Merci Marcel has a number of outlets that have Insta-worthy outdoor seating areas. Our favourite is the one at Tiong Bahru where hanging potted plants, rattan furniture and an exposed brick wall at the patio dining area create a warm and cosy environment.
The restaurants serves simple French cuisine like sourdough bread, cured pork, pizzas and artisan cheeses. Leave some stomach space for the desserts like lemon pie and crème brûlée!
#3 COMO Cuisine
COMO Cuisine has a cosy outdoor seating area that'll make you feel like you're dining in a peaceful garden.
If it gets too hot or you didn't manage to get an outdoor seat, the indoor dining area has plants hanging from the high ceilings and plenty of natural lighting to mimic the alfresco experience.
The restaurant has a simple menu consisting of Western-style brunch dishes with an Asian twist.
#4 Privé @ Chijmes
The alfresco area at Privé overlooks the beautiful central lawn of Chijmes. At night, the fairy lights against the historical backdrop of the former Catholic convent creates an enchanting atmosphere.

What sets this PS. Cafe branch from the others is its beachfront-style setting and the sea view.

The cafe serves classic brunch items like steak, duck confit, pizzas and pastas.
The alfresco dining area of this all-American diner boasts spectacular views of the Marina Bay skyline.
If you didn't manage to get an outdoor seat, the indoor area is just as Insta-worthy with a retro American diner look that'll transport you into the 60's.
The menu features iconic American dishes, milkshakes and American-inspired cocktails.
#8 Bee's Knees at The Garage
Nestled in Singapore Botanic Gardens, Bee's Knees has recently extended their second floor, creating an air-conditioned alfresco terrace aptly named 'The Secret Garden'. This cosy dining area serves as a lunch venue on weekdays. Potted plants, a green wall and a canopy of leaves create the perfect outdoor dining setup without the heat.
The menu offerings ranges from pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, snacks, waffles to ice cream and pancakes with a wide variety of beverage options.
