Singaporean YouTuber Dee Kosh Accused Of Sexually Harassing Multiple Teenage Boys

It’s pretty quiet in Singapore when it comes to celebrity gossip, but once in a while, influencer drama surfaces and things get juicy for a bit.

Over the weekend, Singaporean YouTuber Darryl Koshy, aka Dee Kosh, was subject to sexual harassment claims from multiple guys, including some that were just 16 and 17 years old at the time of the alleged incidents. According to them, Dee had approached them under the guise of giving them job opportunities, only to attempt to get them to perform sexual acts on him.

32-year-old Dee has openly talked about experimenting with guys before, though he still prefers women.

The allegations first started on 15 August 2020 when @_epaul shared some screenshots on Instagram, detailing how Dee Kosh sexually harassed him on the pretext of recruiting him for his YouTube channel.

The above are screenshots of Epaul’s Instagram conversations with Dee. It started innocently enough - Dee is first shown asking when Epaul will turn 18, before calling him “handsome” and asking if he was free for an overnight shoot. Epaul declined, saying that he could not be part of overnight shoots.

According to Epaul, this eventually progressed to Dee talking to him on Telegram’s “secret chat” function, on which entire text conversations can be deleted and any screenshots taken would result in a notification for the other party.

Epaul says that Dee first asked him to send him a selfie of his face every day, and after he got comfortable, started asking him for more “creative” photos using his “angles and body” - saying it was necessary if he wanted to appear on the YouTuber’s channel.

Eventually, Epaul eventually stopped sending any selfies as he became wary, but Dee would still pester him for sexual favours, ask him to go to his place, play “dare or dare”, and request for nude photos - despite Epaul already saying he was straight.

Epaul has since received a cease and desist letter from Dee’s lawyers, which includes the entire transcript of his now-deleted Instagram stories regarding the incident:

The boy is still standing by his claims with strong support from friends and internet strangers alike.

Other males have also stepped forward with their own accusations against Dee Kosh. One of these is Twitter user Praveen, who was allegedly approached to be a “regular friend with benefits”, with pay.

Despite rejection, Dee was persistent in pursuing a sexual relationship with Praveen. After Praveen said he knew who Dee was, Dee blocked him, and allegedly used a fake photo to try again - but to no avail.

“I said I don’t mind being ‘friends’ just to be nice but he emphasised on how the arrangement must involve sex. The disturbing part is how persistent and manipulative he is about it...the fact that he tries this on younger kids too and uses his ‘management’ as a way to entice them is just sick and it’s borderline ‘grooming’,” Praveen writes.

Another of these guys is Twitter user Samuel, who says he was approached in the same way as the other guys. He was afraid to speak up about it at first, but found the courage to do so after others had shared their own experiences.

An Alex also shared some screenshots on behalf of his cousin N, who wishes to remain anonymous. Like Epaul, N was also approached by Dee for a potential job offer, but that was apparently just a cover-up for other intentions.

N was initially excited for the possibility of working with such a huge local social media personality, but things “started to get weird” and in short, N, who was only 16 years old at that time, was allegedly asked to perform oral sex on Dee while blindfolded.
