Neopets Has A New Mobile-Friendly Site So You Can Now Play It On Your Smartphone

The game Neopets should need no introduction. Part of many of our childhoods, it sucked us in for hours as we cared for our pets, built them houses, and sent them for battle in a virtual world.

Previously only suitable for playing on computers, the online game now has a new mobile-friendly site so that you can frolic in the world of Neopia even while on the go.

The mobile-friendly Neopets site was announced on their official Facebook page just 2 days ago on 6 June 2020. It’s currently in an open beta stage, which means that anyone with an account can login to try it using their mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

However, not all the features of the desktop site have been brought over yet, so do be patient while the developers slowly improve its mobile-friendly counterpart.

Currently, it seems like most of their well-loved games are already ready for play, so hop on in and have fun while earning those Neopoints.

Given the long-standing popularity of the game for the past 2 decades, we’re a little surprised that they’ve chosen to release a mobile browser site rather than a mobile app, but we’re guessing that’s because the game has so many features that they can’t possibly fit everything into a single application.
