#1 Visit Disneyland together

Disneyland isn't dubbed the "happiest place on earth" for nothing! If you are planning a trip to California, Florida, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong or Shanghai in the future, you should definitely visit a Disneyland theme park with your besties since we don't have one in Singapore. We have some tips you should take note of when planning a visit to Disneyland that will help make the experience much more enjoyable.

Remember to also purchase your Disneyland tickets on Klook prior to your trip for discounts and so that you won't have to waste time queuing up on that day.

#2 Go on a road trip

This is also something you won't get to do in Singapore because of how small our country is. If you have a friend you can trust your life with or you are confident in your driving skills, a road trip in a foreign country will surely help you create tons of precious memories with your closest friends.

Remember to do loads of research beforehand, make sure you rent a car from a reputable rental company, apply for an international driving license and purchase travel insurance! Once you have the nitty-gritty details down, all you have to do is look forward to your upcoming road trip.

#3 Touch and feel snow at a ski resort

For the adrenaline junkies, we recommend travelling to countries such as Austria, South Korea, Switzerland and Finland for a once in a lifetime experience at a ski resort! Touch and feel snow which we will never get to experience in Singapore and even learn how to ski.

#4 The no-itinerary holiday

This one's definitely not for the fainthearted and requires lots of courage to pull off. It's undeniably weird to not plan anything for your trip but it's the chance for you to revel in uncertainties. Plus, you have your besties with you so just know that everything will be fine as long as you stick together.

To successfully pull off a no-itinerary holiday, you need to get the basics down first. Book all your flights, attraction tickets and accommodations so that you don't end up on the streets in a foreign country. However, leave the daily activities blank and just go with the flow or decide on what to do only on that day. It will be an exciting and unforgettable experience.

#5 Attend a concert together

You might have attended countless concerts with your besties in your own country but have you ever gone to a concert in a foreign country? Plan your trip according to the concert you want to attend or simply wing it and purchase tickets to any concert that is playing during your trip.

Different countries have different concert ambience and vibes so it will be interesting to experience what it's like!

#6 Go on a budget holiday

Travelling is often considered an expensive activity but we believe holidays on a budget can be equally fun and enjoyable! This one's for those who don't mind taking the road less travelled and those going on graduation trips but keep in mind that lots of prior planning is required.

Here are some tips: start planning a year or months before your proposed travel dates, keep monitoring airfares, book accommodations early to enjoy early bird rates and decide on a budget then work around it.

We have other tips on how to deal with money when travelling in a group you can refer to as well as Airbnb recommendations in Seoul and Shanghai for those on a budget.

#7 Plan a short getaway

Don't have the time and budget to splurge on a long holiday at a faraway country? Well, fret not because there are many places located near Singapore with nice cooling weather to plan a short getaway to and escape the sweltering heat of our lion city.

Some of our recommended destinations are: Chiang Rai in Thailand, Sapa in Vietnam and Tagaytay in Philippines. Read this article for other destinations with cooling weather.

#8 Go on a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday

Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and retreat to a tropical island for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday with your besties. Laze the day away in a resort or indulge in massages to treat your tired bodies. Some of the more popular tropical travel destinations are Bali, Phuket, Bora Bora, Maldives and Hawaii.

#9 Go on a shopping holiday

Plan a trip to Seoul to stock up on beauty products or accessories because that bustling city is known to be a shopping paradise. Check out the things you can get at Daiso in Korea, unique and artisan perfumes and earrings from stores in Seoul.

Bangkok, Thailand is also another shopping paradise at an affordable price that will make you shop till you drop!

#10 Wear matching outfits while travelling

Have you always wanted to wear matching outfits with your bestie but are afraid that you guys will appear looking tacky and cringe? The trick to nailing the matching outfit look with is to get clothes that look similar but have its differences (in length or colour etc) too. Also, you will be more daring to wear matching outfits in a foreign country since no one will recognise you.

#11 Visit stairway to heaven photo spots

Have you seen photos of people on a flight of stairs that seems to lead up to the sky and thought to yourself how beautiful and insta-worthy it looks? Dubbed the "stairway to heaven", these wooden stairs are often painted white to help add on to the ethereal vibe people try to achieve in their photos.

Although there are no such stairs in Singapore, there are some located around the world which you can head there to take photos if you will be travelling to that country. Read more about the stairway to heaven photo spots here.

The most exciting part about travelling with your besties is getting to enjoy each other's company while visiting beautiful places, having good food and taking lots of pictures together. Instead of the usual boring poses such as standing in a straight line and looking awkward in photos, pose in fun, quirky and cute ways to spruce up your pictures.

We have some hilarious and adorable poses you and your besties can take inspiration from.

How many of these have you ticked off with your bestie? Which of these will you be adding to your bucket list?
