Tavia Yeung & Him Law Welcome Their 1st Child, A Baby Girl!

A huge congratulations to Tavia Yeung and Him Law!

The 40-year-old, who is married to actor Him Law, announced on social media on Wednesday (April 22) that she has given birth to her "little princess" and posted a photo of the three of them.

In their matching Instagram posts, the couple said that their daughter was born “a little earlier than expected”. The actress was supposed to give birth in May. Fortunately, everything went very smoothly, and both mum and baby are doing well.

“10 months of pregnancy was filled with both difficulty and happiness. To us, there is no bigger blessing than this gift from the heavens,” they wrote. “As new parents, we are trembling with fear, but we are also feeling a joy and satisfaction like no other.”

After thanking a long list of hospital staff for their help and support, Tavia and Him shared that after their child was born, grandma remarked that she looks like a pearl, hence their daughter’s nickname, “Little Pearl”.

Law, 35, shared the same photo on social media as well as one of him carrying his daughter and giving her a nose rub.

Him also dedicated a special note to his wife at the end of his caption: “My wife, you’ve worked hard, although that simple phrase is not enough to describe all that you’ve been through. Being pregnant for 10 months is not an easy thing.”
