#1 Use a natural bristle brush

You can easily break hair while using plastic brushes! The material is also likely to encourage static which won't help with frizz. Swap your plastic brush for one with natural boar or soft nylon-bristles instead. They're gentler on your hair and the structure of the bristles will help to distribute the natural oils from your scalp to the rest of your hair, giving you smooth, shiny hair.
#2 Use a microfibre towel

Your hair is most vulnerable when wet, so avoid rubbing it when towel drying. Instead, pat your hair dry or squeeze the water out gently. It's also good to use a microfibre towel as they're highly absorbent which means you can be gentle with your hair while drying it thoroughly.
#3 Sleep on a silk pillowcase

If you tend to toss and turn in bed, your hair will be rubbing against your pillowcase which means more tangles and frizz. When you switch to a silk pillowcase, your hair glides over it! Plus, sleeping on silk helps retain moisture in your hair so you'll wake up with smoother and more hydrated hair.
#4 Put your hair in a bun

Hair frizz forms when your hair is dry and the outer layer of the hair absorbs moisture from the air, causing the hair to swell and frizz.
Right after your hair dries after a shower, tie it up in a bun until you have to leave the house to prevent excess moisture from getting into the hair shaft so your hair doesn't get frizzy! You'll also get a voluminous and wavy look.
#5 Moisturise your hair

Another way to prevent frizz is to hydrate your hair so it doesn't need to get moisture from the air. Rub a small amount of de-frizzing product on the palm of your hands and distribute it through the mid and end sections of your hair. Try not to use too much product or you'll end up with a greasy look instead!
