This Easy & Free Method Will Give You That Clear, Glowing Skin
In a hot and humid country like Singapore, it is inevitable that you start to sweat the minute you step out of your house. Constant sweating, usage of makeup products and exposure to pollution cause our skin to produce more sebum, which in turn triggers skin problems such as acne or blackheads.
Thus, it is important to cleanse your face twice a day to clear your skin from the grime and dirt your skin is exposed to daily. But do you actually know how to clean your face so that all the makeup, grime and dirt are cleared?
Scroll on to find out more about this method!
LA aesthetician Nayamka Roberts-Smith, who goes by the handle @LaBeautyologist on Twitter, recommended the 60 seconds face wash method to her followers and many were wowed by the effects.

Nayamka explains that makeup, grime and dirt are actually much more difficult to remove than most people think, in an interview with Cosmopolitan. Thus, cleansing your face for 60 seconds will give the cleanser enough time to soften the skin and dissolve sebum blockages, which in turns improves the skin texture and reduces skin problems. Simple, but very effective!
So girls, getting a high end cleanser is not gonna be helpful in clearing the dirt from your face if you don't actually use it for at least 60 seconds. It's time to really rub in the cleanser and in time, you will get smoother skin and less flare-ups for those with acne problems.
Choose a cleanser that is suitable for your skin type and finish up your daily face ritual with a toner and moisturiser for clearer and better skin in the long run. If you think that 1 minute is too long and you will lose interest in cleansing your face, you can try our method and put on a song you like and cleanse your face until the chorus ends. Tried and tested!
