Big Bang's Seungri Is Leaving The Entertainment Industry Amidst Burning Sun Scandal

Ever since the Burning Sun scandal broke, Seungri has been the talk of the town and he is making headlines again with an announcement to leave the entertainment industry forever.

In an official post on Instagram, Seungri shared (in Korean):

This is Seungri.

I think it would be good for me to leave the entertainment industry at this point. I have decided to leave from the entertainment industry because there are too many issues happening right now. Once the investigations is done, I will sincerely address everything again.

In the past one month, I have been criticized and hated by the people and now that I am under investigation, I have once again been put in the spotlight and I wish it could stop.

I am very grateful to all the fans in Korea and abroad for all their love in the last 10 years and I am glad to have received all the love and honour together with Big Bang.

Once again, I'm sorry.
