Artichoke is one of those restaurants that are on everyone's list: a must-try or a favourite. A hearty start to the meal is the creamy and earthy Hummus ($16) served with grilled vegetables, chilli crunch and lemon. Pair it with the Garlic Bread ($10), baguette slices topped with thinly sliced garlic, to scoop up that velvety goodness.

Another comforting starter is the umami-packed Fried Cauliflower ($16) with tomato and raisin relish, almond dukka, feta, and basil. It's perfectly crisp and charred on the outside, and soft on the inside.

If you're craving pasta, go for the Harissa Prawn Pasta ($34). It comes with juicy prawns, fried onions and pasta covered in a rich green harissa cream sauce that has a hint of smokiness and spice.

For the main event, go for one of Artichoke's signature rectangular UnderCrunch pizzas. It delivers on the crunch front with its delicious cheddar-crisped frico bottoms. The new Sunny Slice ($26) will be a crowd-pleaser with a delicious and balanced mix of roast fennel, kumquat, haloumi, arugula, and honey.

Artichoke's other pizza type is the Stone Baked Rounds with a thin crust similar to Neapolitan-style pizzas. Crab-Onara ($34) and Fig & Morty ($28) are both as satisfying as their pun-tastic names. The former is an eggy delight with punpancetta, crab meat, pecorino, and egg yolk sauce with black pepper, and the latter is an indulgent yet refreshing bite with pistachio mortadella, dried figs, fresh jalapeño, and arugula.

Save some stomach space for dessert as Artichoke's OG Date Pudding ($16) is back. The fluffy pudding with cashew caramel and dulce de leche feels sinful (in the best way), but not cloying thanks to coffee jelly and smoked salt cutting through the sweetness.
