Bang & Olufsen Unveils Flagship Store In Town With A Guest Appearance By Thai Actor Gemini Norawit
Heading to Orchard Road over the weekend? You'll want to add Bang & Olufsen's newly refurbished flagship store to the list of spots to check out! Located on the first floor of Scotts Square, the store is accessible from the street, making it super easy to find.
To celebrate the store's grand opening, special guests like Thai actor Gemini Norawit, fashion creator Willabelle Ong, and Malaysian blogger Christinna Kuan graced the blue carpet event.

Besides being well-known for their state-of-the-art speakers and televisions, the premium electronics brand also offers a stunning range of headphones crafted from high-end materials.
While tech and electronics stores in general tend to have sleek, showroom-style interiors that can be a little intimidating to step inside (unless you're ready to drop a decent amount on your next set of headphones or such equipment), the Danish brand is doing something totally different here.

They've designed their open-plan store so that it looks and feels just like a comfy living space. The surroundings actually have more in common with your fave luxury furniture store, with a chill weekend-at-IKEA vibe to it!
Not only does this allow shoppers to try out their products in a setting that best emulates their home or office environment, but it also puts everyone at ease so they can browse in comfort. There are also plenty of spacious alcoves where you can kick back while experiencing their fantastic craftsmanship.

One thing we noticed is that none of their products are displayed with specification sheets listing their display resolution, output, battery life, or other such information (though interested shoppers can still easily search these up, or ask the staff for more details).
Instead, users are free to try out and enjoy each piece as is, and base their shopping decisions solely on their own first-hand experience of the product. Now, we have to say it's quite uncommon to purchase electronics solely based on what we can see and hear and feel, but this certainly is refreshing and makes a lot of practical sense.

It beats giving in to the common trend-led and FOMO-induced shopping, which sometimes comes with the disappointment of taking home a product whose great specs don't translate well into user experience.

Some of the pieces that caught our eye include their gorgeous Beoplay H100 noise-cancelling headphones, which come in a variety of stylish and easy-to-wear shades. Our personal fave has to be Sunset Apricot, a lovely blush colour.
Another top pick is the Beosound A1 3rd Gen, which has to be one of the most impressive bluetooth speakers out there. It's both perfectly compact and portable, while delivering a fantastic bass performance and 360-degree sound.

But when it comes to visual appeal, the Beogram 4000c is hard to beat with its stunning turntable-esque design in champagne. Evoking nostalgia while reimagining sound for contemporary use? Sounds like the perfect living room centrepiece.
