Fun fact: 'Do you want some More Yogurt?' is not only an acceptable way to start conversations now, it might actually become the preferred way very soon. A household name in China with over 1,600 outlets, this smoothie chain has just landed in Singapore and is best known for their — you guessed it — yogurt beverages.

Slated to open in Suntec City on 23 January, the store offers up a range of yogurt smoothies, fruit-forward blends, and creamy, dessert-like drinks that toe the line between 'this is healthy enough for my new year's resolution' and 'treat yourself'.

And prices for drinks here start from $5.50, which honestly is not bad in this economy where a matcha latte can cost as much as lunch in the CBD.

Expect thick, tangy yogurt bases swirled with fresh fruit, grains, and crunchy toppings. If you’re the kind who likes your drinks extra filling, there are options loaded with oats and nuts so you can tell yourself it’s basically a meal.

What's on the menu?

Some of our fave picks are the Almond Avocado Yogurt Shake ($7.90), Strawberry Yogurt Shake ($9.90), and Mango Yogurt Shake ($6.90). They've somehow managed to strike the perfect balance between the heavenly smoothie triad of: Tasty, Refreshing, and Creamy, so you'll certainly catch me returning for these!

There's also a local Singapore-exclusive flavour, Pandan Cendol Yogurt Smoothie ($6.90), which packs a strong punch of pandan flavour in every sip.

For something a little more hearty and unique, go for the Banana Oat Yogurt Shake ($6.90) or Mint Oat Chocolate Yogurt Shake ($9.70). Both can be adequately summed up by this understated but high Asian compliment: not too sweet.

Yogurt-filled baked goods and desserts

And it’s not just about what’s in your cup. More Yogurt is also bringing along baked goods to complete the experience. We glimpsed the gorgeous yogurt-and-fruit-filled bagels, yogurt crunch bowls, and various other sweet treats like tarts, brownies and cheesecakes up for grabs.

On the downside, there aren't any seats to be found at this store, since it's a takeout-only kiosk. So make sure to find a spot to enjoy your treats before purchasing them!

Plus, from 25 to 29 January, all yogurt shakes are going for 12% off, and from 30 January to 1 February, More Yogurt will run a 1-for-1 offer on selected items, making this treat even more wallet-friendly!

Honestly, this might be the smoothie-st way to ask someone out, and we love to see it. Behold, the new Singapore dating icebreaker: “More Yogurt?” Low pressure, delicious rewards — and if it goes badly, at least you still got a yummy smoothie out of it.
