The star of the show is the Rose Tonnerre-Inspired High Tea, inspired by Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle’s deeply alluring fragrance, Rose Tonnerre (formerly known as Une Rose). This high tea set brings the romantic and floral perfume to life on your plate!

Start your journey with savoury treats like the Smoked Eel Rillette with Kaluga Caviar, a luxe bite that opens up your palate, or the refreshing Bluefin Tuna Nori Roll. One of our favourites is the Hamachi and Truffle Ponzu, which offers a beautiful balance of earthy and umami-rich truffle notes.

Sweets

SKAI’s dessert selection also does not disappoint. In fact, there are two standout rose-themed creations which are both picture-worthy and divine to taste!

The first is a Raspberry Rose Chocolate Tart, featuring an almond sablé tart shell filled with raspberry compote infused with rose petals, and topped with a velvety chocolate ganache. The second, a Madagascar Jasmine Vanilla Rose Choux, will be your dessert of choice if you prefer something lighter. With fluffy Chantilly cream and almond praline filling that melts in your mouth, the sweetness of this treat pairs wonderfully with the subtly floral notes of rose.

Of course, no high tea is complete without the right drink. You’ve got two options to wrap up this multi-sensory experience: the Scarlet Eden mocktail and the Daydream of Lilac cocktail.

The Scarlet Eden is all about the fresh, floral vibes, with a lychee rose cordial and raspberry syrup blend that feels like summer in a glass (with a rose on top, of course). It’s pretty, it’s refreshing, and it’s basically made for the 'gram.

If you’re feeling a little fancy, upgrade to the Daydream of Lilac cocktail (for an additional $25), which combines Botanist gin, lavender syrup, and lemon juice for a floral-meets-citrus delight. It’s sophisticated, perfectly balanced, and just the right drink to toast to the view.

This rose-themed afternoon tea at SKAI is available for the entire month of October 2024, so whether you’re planning a birthday, a special celebration, or just need an excuse to feel fancy for a day, this is the place to be.

The Scents & Sensibilities: Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle-Inspired High Tea runs daily from 3-5pm and is priced at $68++ per adult and $34++ per child (6 to 12 years old). This includes a choice of mocktail (+$25 for cocktail), tea or coffee.
