Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion Win Big At MTV Video Music Awards—Check Out The Full Winners List

So, The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards just took place at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, and let's just say, it was craaazy.

Taylor Swift stole the spotlight, taking home seven awards, including Video of the Year for Fortnight with Post Malone and Artist of the Year. She surpassed Beyoncé's record as a solo artist, clinching her 30th VMA. Beyoncé has won 26 VMAs as a solo artist, with an additional two from Destiny’s Child and two more with Jay-Z as The Carters.

Eminem snagged Best Hip-Hop and Best Visual Effects for Houdini, while Sabrina Carpenter won Song of the Year, and Chappell Roan was named Best New Artist.

Megan Thee Stallion hosted the 2024 MTV VMAs, winning Best Art Direction for BOA and Best Trending Video for Mamushi. She recreated Britney Spears' iconic 2001 VMAs I'm a Slave 4 U look, complete with a live snake. She also performed during the show.

Other winners included Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, Benson Boone, SZA, Billie Eilish, Lisa, Seventeen, and more. Beyoncé was notably absent from the winners' list, with her song Cowboy Carter also missing out on CMA Awards nominations.

The show kicked off with Eminem performing Houdini and Somebody Save Me, bringing an army of lookalikes to the stage for a nod to his 2000 VMAs performance. Katy Perry also received this year’s Video Vanguard Award and performed a medley of her hits.

Sabrina Carpenter’s performance was out of this world, with a medley from her latest album Short n’ Sweet. She started on a swing for Please, Please, Please, danced with an alien and astronaut during Taste, and ended with Espresso, where she was joined by a crew of dancing astronauts.
