According to Warner Bros. Pictures' official description, A Minecraft Movie follows Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Hansen), Natalie (Myers), and Dawn (Brooks), four ordinary people with everyday problems.
But everything changes when they find themselves in the Overworld, where creativity is not just a skill but a necessity for survival against threats like Zombies and Piglins. To make it back home, they must learn to master their new world.

In the 75-second teaser, we see Garrett 'The Garbage Man' Garrison, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn wandering through the colourful Overworld. As they explore, Steve's voice invites them with, "Step right this way! Anything you can dream about here, you can make."
Along their journey, they stumble upon all sorts of square-shaped creatures—sinister-looking pigs, pink sheep, wolves, and silly llamas. They also encounter Steve (Jack Black), the expert crafter, who doesn’t exactly impress the group. "This guy is such a toolbag," Natalie snarks, rolling her eyes.
