Living in a busy city, sometimes all we need is a little break. If travelling isn’t an option because you can’t take the time off, treating yourself to a hearty meal can be just as good for your soul.
That’s why we’re excited to tell you that the famous Uoharu from Tokyo is coming to Singapore on 31 July 2024!

Uoharu is known for turning less-than-perfect produce from Toyosu Market into delicious dishes, helping to reduce food waste. The Singapore branch will continue this tradition, using high-quality ingredients with its own unique twist.
Singapore will be its second overseas location, after Hong Kong. This new spot will also feature the popular nightly Warayaki fire show, where dishes are cooked using the traditional straw-roasting technique. How cool is that!

Let's dive into what's in store for us!
What's on the menu
Start your meal with Bagna Cauda ($3.00/pax), a fresh and crunchy starter. Then, get your taste buds ready with the robatayaki, a classic countryside cooking style. Unlike the Warayaki, robatayaki uses hot charcoal to gently smoke and cook the ingredients to perfection. It’s a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds!

Better yet, try their appetisers like Baguette Toast with Cream Cheese and Maple Syrup ($7.80), with a crispy, sweet, and creamy treat. Potato Salad with Smoked Mackerel and Egg ($7.80) with a savoury and smoky flavour, while Spicy Salmon Avocado Tartar ($13.80) offers a spicy and creamy combination.

To get the best of both worlds, you can also enjoy their set lunches starting at $15.80, featuring favourites like the Premium Sashimi Set and Beef Tenderloin Set. All sets come with complimentary green tea too!
And of course, what's an izakaya without alcohol? Adding to the list of izakaya Singapore, Uoharu’s drinks menu boasts over 100 Japanese options, from sake and beer to cocktails, mocktails, and soda, so there's something for everyone.
