The Robertson House by The Crest Collection Is A New Colonial-Style Hotel In Singapore
The colonial aesthetic can be romantic, luxurious and nostalgic all at once, and that explains why The Robertson House by The Crest Collection is oh so charming. Managed by The Ascott Limited and formerly known as Riverside Hotel Robertson Quay, this new hotel has been refurbished and rebranded into a colonial-style hotel oozing with olden-day glamour.

Setting the colonial-inspired ambience is an olfactory experience. Stepping into the hotel, guests will catch a whiff of a distinctive scent that permeates the indoor spaces. This exclusive scent is inspired by the spices and teas that were once traded along the flourishing quayside.
Rooms & Suites

Spanning 10 storeys, the hotel boasts 336 rooms and suites with a bespoke monochrome palette and decorated with a rather fitting print of the Singapore River.
For a particularly indulgent stay, go for one of the hotel's six themed suites which are aptly named after spices that came through Singapore's port in its early colonial days: Nutmeg, Clove, Cinnamon, Cassia, Cardamom and Ginger. Each suite is designed and decorated with motifs, fabrics and artworks reminiscent of Singapore's riverside story.

Guests will enjoy in-room amenities including a complimentary mini bar programme curated with East Imperial as well as a signature spiced Earl Grey tea blend, Dr Robertson's Chai, that's exclusively available at The Robertson House. Atkinsons, an English fragrance house and the official perfumer to the Royal Court of England, features as the hotel's brand of bathroom amenities.

Sprawled across the top floor of The Robertson House is a club lounge inspired by the opening of Singapore's National Library in 1823. It houses a selection of vintage and rare books and will also serve as a venue for monthly programmes such as cocktail-making or tea-blending workshops.
