Earlier today, McDonald's Singapore posted a teaser on Instagram featuring a Pikachu-themed Happy Meal Box. Launching on 26 October at 11am, these Happy Meals will come in revamped boxes featuring an all-yellow design complete with Pikachu's cute face and even 3D ears.

The Happy Meal Toy remains a mystery, but from this image, we're quite certain that it'll come with Pokémon cards. The cards have already launched in McDonald's restaurants in North America and Europe, so it's about time we got our hands on these nostalgic collectibles.

We've done a bit of sleuthing and our guess is that every Happy Meal will come with a toy as well as four cards, while stocks last (which probably won't be very long). There will be 15 reprinted Pokémon cards in total, including some holographic designs. Each will be wrapped in sparkly holographic foil.

Some rumoured Pokémon to be featured on the cards include Sprigatito, Quaxly, Fuecoco, Klawf, Pawmi, Cetoddle and Kirlia.

25 October update:

McDonald's Singapore is back with the official deets: customers who purchase a Happy Meal will have the chance to collect official Pokémon Match Battle trading cards, a card flip coin and instructions. There are 10 types of Pokémon Match Battle games up for grabs, with new game cards set to debut every Thursday at 11am for five consecutive weeks.

The limited-edition Pokémon Match Battle Happy Meals will be available across McDonald's restaurants islandwide and via McDelivery, GrabFood and foodpanda, while stocks last.
