OH MY CAFE Has Pop-Up Winnie-The-Pooh-Themed 'Funny & Hunny Cafes' In Tokyo & Osaka

Maybe it's a Japan withdrawal symptom, but it seems like everyone and their mother is travelling to the land of kawaii these days. If you're one of them, here's an idea for your Tokyo or Osaka itinerary: a Winnie-the-Pooh-themed cafe! OH MY CAFE (オーマイカフェ) has turned their cafes in the two cities into Pooh wonderlands with cute decor, themed food and drinks, and free coasters.

OH MY CAFE is a Disney-themed cafe that doesn't just stick to one theme but offers a rotating line-up that spotlights different films and characters. Every few months, the space and menu refreshes so diners will have a whole new experience. Following runs themed after The Little Mermaid and Toy Story, the cafe is now a Winnie-the-Pooh paradise coined as 'Funny & Hunny Cafe'.

Expect a Pooh overload with wall decals, banners and hanging paper cut-outs creating a sea of yellow. If those aren't enough photo ops, there's also a Pooh wall at the entrance of the cafe.

Menu at Funny & Hunny Cafe

The cafe prides itself in creating a menu that not only looks too good to eat, but is also low in calories and carbs, and with vegetarian options available too. Diners are welcome to bring home the Pooh stands, tags and other paper decorations on the plates and cups.

Winnie-the-Pooh Merchandise

The cafe also has a retail section offering exclusive Pooh merchandise. Some items - like the teaspoons and coasters - can only be purchased by diners who order specific food or drinks.

The cafe is open to walk-ins, but it's recommended to reserve a table (¥770, ~SGD7.06) online at hunny2023.ohmycafe.jp. Besides securing a table, diners who make a reservation with receive a free Winnie-the-Pooh towel coaster. These coasters come in four designs and will be given out at random.
