Here’s a public service announcement: the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 29 September this year and you can start securing your favourite mooncakes! If you have a soft spot for traditional Asian desserts and snacks, then you won’t want to miss these handcrafted creations by renowned culinary brand Crystal Jade.
We’re talking about their Asian Flavours Petite Snow Skin Mooncakes. Available in a set, they are ideal for sharing during your celebrations! Indulge in Black Glutinous Rice Pulut Hitam, which is infused with fragrant coconut milk. Or you could take a bite of the Roasted Chestnut mooncake, a veritable ode to the popular street snack. In it, you will find an entire chestnut nestled snugly within the white lotus and chestnut paste.

Back by popular demand is the irresistible Macau Peanut Candy flavour, which features a crunchy and nutty filling that perfectly complements the silky and soft snow skin. Last but not least, the final flavour is made for those with a sweet tooth. Picture this delightful scene: you slice open the mooncake to find a slightly molten consistency. With each mouthful, you experience the mild earthiness of grated Chinese yam complemented by the rich caramel notes of gula melaka and coconut.

Their signature offerings are Premium White Lotus Paste ($68 for four pieces), Single Yolk with Lotus Paste ($78 for four pieces), Double Yolk with Lotus Paste ($82 for four pieces), and the Signature Mixed Nuts with Jinhua Ham ($80 for four pieces). The last flavour is a crowd favourite that is prized for its savoury undertone — it contains dry-cured Jinhua ham as well as a variety of nuts and seeds like walnuts, sesame seeds, and almonds.
