Watermelons are one of the most popular fruit in the world! We love them, especially in Singapore's hot, hot, hot weather!
We saw square watermelons in Japan (sold at crazy exorbitant prices) and we thought...what next? Then we saw this. Bread that looks and is shaped exactly like watermelons! (and way cheaper than those square melons!)
Jimmy's Bakery, is a bread shop located in Yilan County of Northeastern Taiwan and they are currently selling this cool loaf. Lee Wen-Fa, the baker said that he recreated this 'watermelon' to inspire kids to eat bread during the hot summer days when they have smaller appetites.

The watermelon colours come from powdered tea for the green, cherries for the red, and bamboo charcoal or the black. So its all natural and organic ok? Perfect for the health conscious.
It has a sweet and fruity taste too!

We knew we had to get our hands on this crazy-cute creation so we'd ordered ours. (shipping from Taipei)
If you aren't as insane as us, you could try to recreate the same thing at home!
Also, for all the avid bakers (or adventurous souls) you can try your hand at baking your own watermelon bread. It's easier then it looks! We found this video from Youtube.
