Has severe RBF but is fairly jolly and carefree on the inside. Degree of life satisfaction is heavily influenced by food.

Sure, Japanese cuisine is one of the best, Korean culture - and by extension, its food - has taken over all our hearts, and Western fare always feels like a fancy treat. Still, there's nothing more comforting than local flavours! If you'd like to pamper yourself to a hearty all-you-can-eat feast of Singaporean food, the Go Lokal Buffet at Peppermint has you covered.

Set in the garden terrace-esque Peppermint restaurant at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, this limited-time buffet by Chef de Cuisine Leon Yee arrives right in time for National Day.

Go Lokal Buffet Menu

Diners will enjoy an array of local delights along with buffet essentials like seafood, cheeses, Japanese food and other international dishes.

Local Delights

The Heritage Station packs all the familiar foods in one, including Kueh Pie Tee, Seafood Otak, Hei Zho with Sweet Sauce & Chilli, Potato Curry Puff and BBQ Chicken Wing.

There will be a rotation of a noodle or rice dish. During our visit, the fragrant and smoky Chef Leon's Crab Claypot Rice was on the menu. Others you might chance upon include Seafood Hokkien Mee, Clam & Egg White Sauce Bee Hoon and Sambal Seafood Fried Rice with Durian.

Noodle & Chicken Rice Stalls

Head to the live stations for hawker favourites with a luxe twist such as Singapore Laksa and Chicken Rice. The former had a rich, piquant soup and was served with prawn, scallop and lobster. The latter comes with a choice of  Steamed Chicken or Soya Braised Chicken.

There will also be Meat and Sustainable Fish dishes on rotation. We had the Buah Keluak Wagyu Beef Belly "Kong Bak Bao" and Steamed Patin Fish with Fried Shallot Sauce respectively.

Other dishes to look forward to include Deep-fried Whole Barramundi with Thai Chilli & Green Mango, Wok-toss Chicken with Honey Glaze Chicken & Longan Roast Duck with Dang Gui.
