Kampong Glam was originally a Malay 'Enclave' but today it is one of the hottest tourist spots in Singapore and one of the most Instagrammable places!

It is an eclectic mix of history and modernity, and the entire neighbourhood oozes a trendy yet quaint vibe.

OOTDs or Wedding shots in a Japanese Cemetery? Why not!

This place is a picture of tranquility and Zen. (And you never need to fear people 'photobombing' your pictures) Many Westerners take their pictures at cemeteries, so why can't we too?

This charming cemetery might be an 'interesting' choice for a photoshoot or excursion, but we think it's well worth the visit. Location is within a 15 minute walk of Kovan MRT. The place is very well-maintained and there are no signs of decay or degeneration. Just look at those pictures and you know.

3. Koon Seng Road Pastel Buildings

This East-side neighbourhood is fast growing in popularity and many people are already rushing there to get a piece of it.

A stone throw away from Dakota Mrt, these Peranakan houses at Koon Seng Road are painted in various shades of sugary sweet pastels. These colonial houses might be old but they certainly don't look their age. Think you've seen it all on Instagram?

Why not try taking shots from various/different angles? There's always something new to discover here.

Mount Faber has always been a popular dating spot. (or Shady Shenanigans at night) In the day time, it's pretty great for casual walks and family outings too!

These vibrant and colourful steps are bound to look awesome in any Instagram post. These colourful flight of steps lead straight up to Faber Peak Singapore, where you can ring a bell for....for happiness. (aptly termed as the 'Bell Of Happiness')

Check out the infamous Yellow Rain Trees!

The Gardens are no longer solely for Primary School kiddos on an educational hunt for different types of Flora/Fauna for Science projects but it has become a wonderful haven, full of Instagrammable potential.

Grab your Summery White dresses and get a couple of 'chio' shots amidst the fabulous foliage!

6. Bedok Reservoir

Do Reservoirs sounds boring? I might dislike long nature walks but that gorgeous pink sunset though!

The Bedok Reservoir Jetty is a great place to capture the stunning sunset and sunrise on camera. The Jetty offers a panoramic view of the sunset's orange glow spilling over Singapore's cityscape, creating a Romantic atmosphere.

It's a great place for a quiet evening jog or just some idyllic, chill time with friends.

Anyone who says that Singapore is 'ugly' or boring couldn't be further from the truth! There are so many hidden gems awaiting for locals to uncover! Grab your date, get down to these locations and start snapping away.
