Starbucks Singapore Opens A New Rustic, Hut-Like Outlet At Bird Paradise
We've lost count of how many Starbucks stores opened in the past few years, but every unveiling continues to be just as thrilling as the last. And the brand-new outlet at Bird Paradise is no exception!

Visitors at the newly opened attraction will find this picturesque Starbucks outlet right at the entrance. Nestled among greenery and with an adjacent playground, the wooden hut-like store has such cosy, back-to-nature vibes that aren't just for aesthetic purposes.
The wooden details - bar ceiling, outdoor bench seating, planters - are all built with recycled wood endorsed by The Singapore Environment Council to be Green Label certified.

Beyond the facade, the store is also going all out with sustainable efforts. Store equipment is energy and water efficient, and all water faucets are 3-tick certified - the maximum rating of water saving standards in Singapore. The appliances, including the refrigerator, ice machine and dishwasher, are also specially sourced to ensure overall energy efficiency.
In line with these eco-friendly practices, takeaway orders will come in sustainable packaging including paper bags made of 95% post-consumer fibre, 100% recycled napkins, strawless lids, compostable straws and biodegradable cutlery. Customers are also encouraged to use "for-here" dining ware in stores and bring their own bags and tumblers to reduce the use of disposables at all Starbucks outlets.
Along with the sustainable wooden materials, the store is decorated with a specially customised Starbucks artwork in collaboration with local artist Rippleroot depicting a coffee oasis in nature.
