Busan-Themed Jung Beauty Pop-Up In Singapore: Complimentary K-Style Caricature, Photo Booth & More
Following the successful Jeju Island-themed Jung Island pop-up last year, Ksisters is rolling out yet another Instagrammable pop-up, this time featuring Summer travel hotspot, Busan, as its inspiration.
For the uninitiated, Ksisters is a local online platform offering a thoughtfully curated range of Korean beauty, fashion and lifestyle products. You'll be able to test their most popular products and check out the latest launches at the Hello Summer! pop-up at Market Blue from 20 April to 3 May 2023.
A section of the Korean marketplace is now a vibrant, beach-y space with activities, exclusive merchandise and 10% off all products.
If you've travelled to Busan, be prepared for the nostalgic feels and holiday memories to come rushing back! The walls are covered in cute illustrations by Oak and Bindi depicting three of the seaside city's most famous attractions - Gamcheon Village, Haeundae Beach and Sky Capsule.

Standing front and centre is a beach-inspired photo area celebrating the new Jung Beauty Probiotics Tinted Sun Serum ($45).
A 3-in-1 product, this SPF50 serum is formulated with a nourishing blend of skincare ingredients including niacinamide and panthenol so it moisturises and refines the skin while protecting it from the sun.

It's also lightly tinted, which means you won't get that ghostly white cast that mineral sunscreens are notorious for creating. It's a great option for those with sensitive and dry skin as the silky formula glides on effortlessly, leaving the skin looking dewy and hydrated. Have oily skin? This sunscreen would also work well for you with a light layer of powder on the shiniest parts of your face.

You can also find Ksisters' best-selling and the latest skincare and make-up launches from K-beauty brands like Lavien, Dasique, LUVUM and OHIOHOO.
What caught our eye was the newly launched DASIQUE Shadow Palette in Berry Smoothie ($37.80). This petite palette packs a whopping 18 shades in a variety of cool-toned pinks, purples and taupes in different finishes. Talk about a versatile, travel-friendly eyeshadow palette!

Besides shopping, visitors can also enjoy a complimentary skin analysis session using a skin AI machine from Korea. I've had a few skin analyses before but this was the most comprehensive on by far, detailing 11 parameters of the skin including pore size, pigmentation and moisture level at different parts of the face. The skin consultant explained the scan results in detail and offered skincare and lifestyle tips to improve those targeted skin concerns.
Slots are limited and on a first-come-first-serve basis so I'd suggest making a beeline for the QR code to secure your place in the queue.

And that's only the start of the activities at the pop-up! There's a Gachapon Machine with prizes like mini skincare products. Customers who spend a minimum of $60 can have a go at it, with a maximum of 5 chances ($300 receipt).

The lucky ones will get a go at the Life4Cut photo booth which has exclusive Jung Beauty-themed frames and props. It's also available for other visitors at $10 for two printouts.

If you decided to treat yourself to a shopping haul worth a minimum of $180 in a single receipt, you get to have your caricature drawn by Jelly Caricature (@jellycaricature), who specialises in cute Korean-style caricatures. This launch special will be available from 20 to 23 April from 1 to 5pm.
