There's A Rilakkuma Carnival In Singapore With Rides, Games, & A Ton Of Cute Character-Themed Photo Spots
We all grew up enjoying Uncle Ringo’s pasar malam carnivals, and even well past our childhood days, we’re still excited at the mention of such pop-up funfairs. Now, combining this good old-fashioned fun with some San-X cuteness is the first-ever Rilakkauma Carnival in Singapore, now open in the East for a limited period of time with rides, games, and a ton of free kawaii photo spots featuring the lazy bear.

Recently opened on 4 March 2023, Singapore’s first Rilakkuma Carnival is vacation-themed, and aptly located at Changi Airport. Join Rilakkuma and his friends on a whimsical adventure as you have a whirl of nostalgia with colourful carnival rides like the Ferris Wheel, Samba Balloon, Swing Chair, and Tea Cup.

Then, test your skills and try your luck in winning attractive prizes at the game booths featuring Wiggle Wires, Bowling, and Shuffle Board. The specific prizes have not been mentioned, but hopefully they’ve got cute Rilakkuma designs on them!

To receive 5 free Carnival Credits, simply spend a minimum of $80 in Changi Airport’s public areas in T1 to T4 ($100 for supermarket). That’s not too much of a tall order if you’re dining at one of Changi Airport’s many restaurants in a group!
These Rilakkuma-themed carnival rides and games can be found on Level 2 at Terminal 3, at the Departure Immigration Hall and near check-in row 11.

In true Rilakkauma fashion, all of the rides are made to be relaxing and slow-paced, but if that’s still not your cup of tea, you can still get a dose of the cuteness overload with the free Rilakkuma-themed photo spots scattered throughout Terminal 3 at Level B2.

These include life-sized standees of Rilakkuma and his friends - Korilakkuma, Kiiroitori, and Koguma-chan - in various scenes and getups. Strike your best poses as you catch them going shopping, traipsing around in Winter wear, or just chilling on the steps! There’s also a giant pink Polaroid frame with a lovely pink background.
